Last week I booked more new business meetings. Last week I had more smiles and handshakes. Understanding fully that you may get shouted at or even told to get the ***k out of my kitchen. Just poking my face through the kitchen door and seeing where that got me. I ended up dropping into eight establishments over the course of the day. It was adhoc, off the cuff, and as natural as it could be. The next day in my calender was called Berkshire prospecting. So I decided to throw all of that negativity out of the window and hatched a plan. What am I doing wrong? Have I lost my mojo? My train of thought was suddenly foggy. I experienced this exact episode recently with cold calling to book meetings. But sometimes you can feel so far away from engaging with your customer base that you start to lose heart, focus, and it seems like you are sinking in quicksand. But when it feels like you are meeting stiff resistance at every corner what do you do? I did recently and this is how I fixed it.
